CHANGELING bring their first-ever tour to Berlin — a homecoming for the mastermind behind it.
CHANGELING is the all-star progressive death metal project of Berlin-based guitarist, composer and producer Tom „Fountainhead“ Geldschläger — the fretless-guitar innovator known from Obscura’s Akróasis. Signed to Season of Mist, the band fuse technical death metal with jazz fusion, world music and orchestral scope, with a line-up drawn from Obscura, Fear Factory, Alkaloid, Belphegor and Virvum. Their self-titled debut is a genre-defying, mind-bending statement — expect crushing riffs, facemelting solos and an atmosphere that pulls the floor out from under you.
Special guests OBSIDIAN TIDE join from Tel Aviv, Israel. Formed in 2012, the trio blur progressive, death and post-metal across two acclaimed albums — Pillars of Creation (2019) and The Grand Crescendo (2023) — and bring an energetic, mesmerizing live show honed across stages and festivals all over Europe.
