ICE SEALED EYES bring their new album to Cologne.
Formed in Brussels in 2020, the Belgian four-piece call what they do newcore – heavy, immersive music built around emotional weight rather than posturing. After the 2022 EP Solitude came an ambitious triptych of EPs (Torments, Fragments, Laments), collected into their debut album ALTAR in 2024: a record shaped around the recurring image of the butterfly, digging into love, self-respect, emotional violence and letting go.
Released independently, ALTAR pulled millions of streams and made them one of the most promising heavy acts to come out of Belgium. Cologne already knows them – they headlined the Euroblast side stage here in 2023 – and since then they’ve shared stages with Amenra, Brutus, Resolve and Unprocessed, supported Falling In Reverse in arenas, and toured Europe alongside Wheel and Stoned Jesus.
Now they’re stepping into a darker, more unsettling chapter – one built on memory, mental health and loss, opened by the single „Acid Tears“. Their new album lands with a release show at Ancienne Belgique on 14.11; a week later they bring it to the MTC.
